  • Directions: Take State Road 40 through Charlotte Court House. Turn left onto County Road 682 (road marked by historical sign). Stay on 682 for about 6 miles. Turn right onto County Road 619. Cub Creek Church is on the right, about a half mile up the road.

Property Details

A granite marker and bronze tablet commemorate the site of Cub Creek Church, one of the most important sites for Presbyterianism in America. Scotch-Irish settlers from Pennsylvania established a settlement here in 1738.
